Ilan Shoham

He was born on September 5, 1998 in Les Sables-d'Olonne. After several years of searching for his path (advertising, musicology, gardening, etc.), he finally found his passion in graphic design. His design studies led him to take photography classes, an art that he had explored very little.

It was during a course in October 2021 that he had to create a portfolio of 15 photos, and he chose street photography as a theme, a genre he was almost unfamiliar with. He had in hand a Canon EOS with a 38-76mm lens that belonged to his grandfather, a photography enthusiast. After a few weeks wandering the streets, he fell in love with this art which allowed him to channel all his contemplation for this world.

As a creative, he had found his medium. From now on, he never goes out without his camera, a Fuji X100F more suited to street photography. From his travels in India to his visits to several cities and his walks in the fields of his childhood, he never stops photographing everything. His eye is constantly sharpening, and he is always looking to go further in his style. Photography became his primary means of expression, allowing him to capture and share his unique vision of the world.
